Laurie is the sole caregiver for her mother, Sheila, now 80 and living with Alzheimer’s. After finding DayBreak online and talking with our specialist, Laurie enrolled Sheila at one of the 13 Adult Care Centers in Alameda County. In Laurie’s words: “It’s like an oasis when you’re lost in the desert, and mom is happier than I’ve seen her in years.”
