2018 African American Caregiving & Wellness Forum

The 2018 African American Caregiving & Wellness Forum is FREE, open to the public, with on-site respite available for caregivers to bring their loved ones in their care. The Forum will be held at the Ed Roberts Campus in Berkeley on Saturday, 4/21 from 8:30am to 2pm. The program begins at 9:15am, and there will be a complimentary lunch and health screening for everyone.

Free Resources for LGBTQ 60+

The Pacific Center for Human Growth has FREE drop-in therapy groups for LGBTQ community members, age 60+. No reservation required!

Center for Elders’ Independence offers a free 8 session program for caregivers who want to learn ways to better care for their loved ones and themselves. This class is offered year-round!

African American Women with Cancer Support Group – Free

The Women’s Cancer Resource Center (WCRC) is offering free cancer support groups for African American women with cancer. Support groups are available in Oakland and Richmond. For more information about time, place, location, and language capacities, please contact Dolores at (510) 350-1312.
